Melton Mowbray Town Estate

Street markets are held at least three times a week in the centre of Melton Mowbray. There is a general market every Saturday and Tuesday and a bric-a-brac market every Wednesday. Special markets (selling things like craft items, antiques and international foods) are held two or three times a year – look out for these on our Events page. We have a Market Shoppers’ Charter to inform customers of their rights and assure them about the standards and level of service they should expect from the market and its traders.

The Town Estate makes one stall available for charity use, at a reduced cost, on a first come first served basis on Saturdays. Charities are advised to book well in advance, as demand is high.
