Street markets are held at least three times a week in the centre of Melton Mowbray. There is a general market every Saturday and Tuesday and a bric-a-brac market every Wednesday. Special markets (selling things like craft items, antiques and international foods) are held two or three times a year – look out for these on our Events page. See our Market Guide for an idea of what products or services are available at our markets.
We have a Market Shoppers’ Charter to inform customers of their rights and assure them about the standards and level of service they should expect from the market and its traders.
The Town Estate makes one stall available for charity use, at a reduced cost, on a first come first served basis on Saturdays. Charities are advised to book well in advance, as demand is high.
If you are interested in holding a stall at our market, please fill in our online Market Stall Application Form. You can also call us on (01664) 566953 to apply for a market stall or for general enquiries related to our street markets or market stalls.
