Melton Mowbray Town Estate

A further purchase for £1,400 in 1931, completed the quadrants of Estate land around the Leicester Road Bridge. Football, hockey and cricket pitches are laid out.

The Park has also in times gone by been the venue for the Country Fair, Lions Family Fun days and a Tug of War (48 Seconds, 3.12MB, WMV).

On 10 March 2003 the Rotary Club of Melton Mowbray installed a sundial in the park to commemorate 75 years of service to the community.
